So I am a student in sonipat. We face serious issues in terms of traveling. Because all the haryana drivers have made a union. They don’t have there own fixed prices. And irrespective of whatever price it shows on the application. They randomly give hiked prices of there own. As us being students, we don’t have any option but to agree to their hiked prices. One such situation happened with me. I booked a cab from Jindal campus to new delhi railway station. I tried booking several cabs viab ola and uber but none worked. Irrespective of whatever prices it shows on the application they were charging hiked prices of there own. As i had to catch a train i was already getting late. After multiple cancellations and disagreements I booked another cab from ola. With CRN7868496035. I contacted him before he was reaching my location. As per the telephonic conversation i asked him how much is he going to charge for the trip. To which he replied whatever the billing amount would show on the application when the trip ends he would be charging that. So according to my understanding the amount was 935 as per the application. In between the trip he stopped the car and asked me to pay additional 490 for the toll. This was shocking to me and he said he won’t be moving forward if i didn’t pay. Out of no option i had to pay him. After the trip ended. He showed me a fraudulent screenshot stating that the total bill is 1480. Which was again a shock/annoying as per the application i was liable to pay just 950 for the whole trip. After lots of arguments and mental torture this man asked me to pay 1300 more. In total i paid double the price , for a trip of which i had to only pay 950. Now i tried reaching the customer service of this application it’s disgusting. Because there’s no customer grievance and no option to contact to any customer care representative of ola. This is disgusting. As i consumer, I was scammed and torutred. I need immediate relief.
