Hi,
My name is Nagamalleswara Rao,
I have booked a round trip from ola cabs on September 8th 2019 to Nandi hills which is 60 KM far from KR Puram, Bangalore.
The estimated cost from ola was 1900 rupees.
The total distance we travel is around 150 to 160 KM. But they charged me for 264 KM which is wrong. They charged 4400 rupees which is 2500 rupees more than the estimated cost. I had asked driver about the distance is showing wrong. He said it came from Ola so he can’t do anything about it and he suggested us to not to book ola because it is fraud. So I called customer care and explain the scenario. They told me that they will send me a voucher for that extra charge. I told them that I don’t want the voucher because 2500 is not a small amount. But they said it is not possible.
This is a big fraud ola is doing. They are charging extra money from customer and giving their vouchers. This is like selling their vouchers by charging extra money from the customer.
I’m attaching the screenshot of the rout map what we traveled for your reference. In the same screenshot you can see wrong distance was mentioned and they charged 2500 rupees for extra distance.
And I’m attaching other screenshot of the chat with ola customer care on Twitter. I had a call regarding of customer care where I told them to refund the money(not voucher).
(My payment mode was through Google pay)
