Text of Complaint by Swadesh Behera:

NEVER BUY OLA ELECTRIC BIKE (THEY NEVER PROVIDE SERVICE, PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TOO)

Date: 22-Aug-2023 (OLA bike is not in a movable condition since last 2.5 months and the support is just wastage of time)

I stay in a Tier-III city. Purchased OLA care plus with 1 year of free service and infinite home visits. Complete waste of money.

Total loss till date: ₹99,999 (Bike cost) + ₹4,000 (OLA cate) + ₹8,000 (Insurance) + ₹5,000 (Insurance)

Recently I observed that the bike side stand is not working, and submitted a support request.

Following are the actions

– Technician visited after 10 days (Paid visit). Reported that there are 4 major electrical parts and all have been damaged by rat bite. Hence another technician will visit to fix the issue which will cost ₹18,000
– They informed that there are > 70% rat bite cases last year.

Since then no body show up. Its already more than 2.5 months. Following are my actions

– Made > 12 calls to 080-33113311 and reported the issue and every time the support person answers as follows
“We have escalated the issue and our representative will call you back”. Eventually no one call back.
– Chat support is only available for sales not for service
– Emails are replied by bots
– They schedule multiple appointments and nobody show up all the time

They have been launching huge marketing campaigns relentlessly for OLA electric, but the after sales service network is so horrible. I have wasted > 20hrs of time. ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED YET
