Text of Complaint by Anindya Kr. Banerjee:

Boarded OLA cab on 2-9-2022 at 07:59 AM (vide CRN6617681559). After taking OTP and starting the ride, the driver informed that the ac was not working as expected. He insisted that maybe I will feel comfortable after sometime. But after travelling for about 2kms I started sweating and decided to cancel the ride. But OLA charged me Rs. 588 for cancelling the ride midway after talking to the driver partner. I again took another ride at 08:52 AM (vide CRN6617795036) and reached my destination (the same destination for which I had booked the earlier cab). I complained to the customer care executive who assured me of getting the amount credited to my OLA Wallet within 72 hrs. But nothing happened. Later, on calling them up I got informed that I had de-boarded due to personal reason and as such the money won’t be refunded. Taking a cab again to reach the destination simply proves that I didn’t de-board for personal reason.
