Text of Complaint by Janak Raj Vermani:

I had recently ported my mobile number 9356003061 to vodafone from Airtel and my number was working fine. After 2 months the company temporarily barred my number on the grounds that my payment to earlier service provider was still due. I immediately made the payment and submitted the receipt with the nearby Vodafone store. On getting the receipt they assured me that my number would be reactivated. When it didn’t get so, I reached them out again and found out that the incompetent staff of the store had forgot to upload the receipt on third portal due to which my number was not activated. I still gave them another chance but they again failed to get my number activated. On inquiring again, I was told that my documents were not properly submitted while porting due to which my number has been deactivated.

 

I am a senior citizen and a businessman. Due to continuous visits and inactive phone, I have not only incurred losses in business but have felt harrassed. The staff remains to be insensitive towards the issue and my number is still inactive.
