After your continuous pestering, I reviewed and went through the offer letter and have found that at point 8, it is clearly
written that if anyone resigns, he/she either needs to serve 1 months notice period or needs to provide 1 months basic in lieu.
But if the same person is terminated, one months extra basic needs to be paid along with all his/her other dues.
I can now well understand why you are persistently asking me to resign.
In such senario, if I now resign, you shall be relieved of not paying me my due salary, as I did not serve any notice period. While
if you terminate me, you certainly have some liability to clear up.
But,
It had so happened, that a rule was passed that anyone entering office after 9:30 am, need to go back home. I was told to go back home on
23-02-2018. And due to some trasportation problem, I was late and felt that I shall be late in entering office on 28-02-2018. So I called the HR and
informed that I won’t be able to make by 9:30 and so I am going back home. The only thing that happened was I was a little late in informing.
The HR in response send me that following whatsApp message, I am putting them word by word.
“Partha da no need to come. You were supposed to come to office by 9:30 and your reporting time is over so reporting me after the time is
not required and a step has been taken already.
After yesterday’s conversation also you din’t change your casual attitude towards work. So please go back.”
With her message, I had the feeling that I was terminated, and told her to do so, but after clearing my dues.
But now as you are asking for my resignation, please credit my salary. As soon as it is cleared, I shall forward my resignation
letter within 1 working day.
