This a copy of my Complaint to Railways, Trivandrum, on 05.11.2019, but no response so far. Hence forward to you.
Negligent and discourteous act by ticket counter staff.
I visited ticket counter section at TVC Station on 26/10/2019 at around 12 noon to fetch my ticket to Tripunithura Stn by Train No. 16525, KSR B’lore Exp. My group was of four members including a senior citizen his wife, myself aged 59 years and my wife.There were few passengers at three or four ticket counters which were open.
I approached counter No. W 9, where one lady with her accomplice were standing whom ticket was being issued by the counter staff.
As that counter ( W 9 ) had only one customer, I went to there to purchase our tickets. While I was almost near the Counter, the Counter staff cleared previous lady customer and raised from his seat, left the seat and moved towards right side inside the Counter.
I was desperately looking at him, but he did not care me, but went to nearby staff and started chating with other staff.
Then, I approached other counter at our right side and obtained ticket from there. It was a deliberate discourteous and arrogant act by the Staffer who had clearly noticed my approaching the counter. If CCTV footages are there, a clear version of the incident will be there.
Our team of senior persons and two ladies were nearby waiting for my return with tickets. The act of staffer to me, ( I am aged 59 years, retired from service) was irresponsible, impolite and highly objectionable.
As we had health problems not comfortable with 2n Sleeper, we managed to convert tickets to 3rd AC in the train paying extra.( Reciept No. 796363). But the incident hurt all of us deepily.
Hence this complaint to take stringent action against the staffer for such offensive behavior during duty time.
