I’m a college going student and a outsider living in Kolkata for more than a year. In my recent PG there is a girl with whom I had a little quarrel about silly thing. She told me to open the gate of the washroom and keep the lead of the toilet open which is obviously unusual, still I didn’t say a single word and agreed as I knew she is dominating and want everyone to follow her lead. As we know this is not the behaviour we r used to , shaping our behaviour takes time. Once in hurry I may closed the washroom gate and she arrogantly complained me , she started taking “it’s not your home and things like that” . Obviously I answered back. That is what all happened in presence of me.
After some time the care taker called me and told me she complained against me and all, the caretaker didn’t use very professional languages which happens very often. Then I called PG owner to complaint against the care taker as this was not the very fast time. He, the owner, did not hear my words properly and inform me that the pg mate with whom I had a silly word fight has lodged a legal complain against me and he told me to leave the room as he want to avoid any obstacles. Everything was very shocking to me. I called the pg mate and asked her about the matter she replied “you deserve that” . That evening when she returned I again tried to ask her about the matter she told ” you are giving my number to everyone” , which is a total allegation, when I asked for proof she refused. On 24th Jan I received a WhatsApp message from the PG owner as a notice to leave the room. I’m a 18 year old middle class student. I belong to a remote area, in this metro city everything is new to me also my final exams are forward. The question is why the bias? Why am ‘I’ supposed to take a notice to leave the room. I’m living with my roommate for more than 6 months and with other PG mates for more than 1 year no one complained against me for a single time. I want justice.
The room carpet is not even clean.
The water purifier doesn’t work well sometimes
Many times I told to repair the fan regulator still no steps are taken
*We were living here with no security, a phone of my PG mate got stolen from PG, after that we took step and stall a CCTV. In the aggreement it was told that CCTV is installed
*The PG owner often uses arrogant words and slangs infront of the PG, while quarrelling with the neighbor.
