I’ve ordered food from KFC at around 8 pm on Saturday evening. After about an hour, i felt that my order was running late and as i checked my Zomato app to track my food, my valet already arrived at the location. So i rushed to him to receive my order.
Upon seeing me, the delivery valet told me that he had been here for long time and had been trying to connect to me multiple times but due to network issues, his call was never connected to me.
He even showed me the number of times he dailed my number in order to reach me, and i also felt bad for him but I never received a call from him so i couldn’t count it my fault.
He then handed over me the order but after a few seconds he grab the order back saying that it has been cancelled and he was returning the order back to KFC.
Thus, I instantly tried to get in touch with the Zomato helpline and started chatting with them but their response were making the case even more frustrating for me.
They accuse me that I never responded or refuse to attend the call from the delivery valet. And no refund for my order.
I replied to them saying that I have Airtel Sim card and i can even show it to the Court, or Police about my call details that not a single call was received by me from the valet or Zomato. This would proof the customer care guilty as they’ve said that i i refused to respond to the call from Valet.
So here’s the thing,
Someone called you multiple times but couldn’t connect to you due to network issues, on other hand, You never knew about someone trying to reach your phone as you didn’t receive any call or miss call.
Now if that guy started accusing you that you have been constantly rejecting his calls, what step should u take?
