Text of Complaint by Alan John:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your attention the unfair and fraudulent practices of Skill Lync, a company that claims to offer courses in Data Analytics and Data Science. I am Alan John, a student from Gudalur, Tamil Nadu, who was lured into taking their course by their sales executive in May 2022.

The sales executive from Skill Lync contacted me and convinced me to pay an initial amount of Rs. 5,000 to enroll in their course, which costs Rs. 1,50,000. I was told that the balance amount would be generated as an EMI through Eduvanz, and I would have to pay Rs. 6,819 per month. I was also promised an internship of three months after completing three modules of the course, which would pay Rs. 10,000 per month, and a job after completing the course.

However, after completing three modules and paying the EMI on time for three months, I requested the promised internship. Skill Lync asked me to complete one more module before becoming eligible for the internship. This caused frustration and stress for me, as I was not able to pay the upcoming EMIs due to my financial situation, and my father was hospitalized during this period. Skill Lync had promised me an internship and job, but they did not fulfill their commitment, which has caused mental agony and financial loss.

Furthermore, the Eduvanz team contacted me frequently and disturbed me about overdue EMIs. I tried to resolve this issue with Skill Lync and Eduvanz, but Skill Lync was not ready to understand my situation and kept insisting on completing the course. I have decided to cancel the course due to the cheating and fraud committed by Skill Lync.

I request you to take strict action against Skill Lync for their unethical and fraudulent practices. They have cheated me by promising an internship and job, but not fulfilling their commitment. I am mentally and financially troubled due to their actions. I hope that justice will be served, and I will receive a fair resolution to this issue.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,

Alan John
