On April 24th, I ordered a statue of Bhagwan Gautam Buddha from the Meesho shopping app. A few days later, the statue was delivered to me, but when I opened the box, I was shocked to find that the statue was broken. I immediately called the delivery boy and told him about the damage, but he refused to take it back. Frustrated and disappointed, I contacted Meesho’s customer support and explained the situation.

The customer support representative apologized for the inconvenience and instructed me to request a return for the statue on their app, assuring me that they would pick it up in a few days and transfer my refund to my bank account. I followed their instructions and requested a return for the statue. The next day, a delivery boy came to pick up the statue. However, when he saw that the statue was broken, he refused to take it back, claiming that the damage was caused by me.

I contacted Meesho again and explained the situation. They told me to request another return, but despite several attempts, no one came to pick up the statue. When I contacted Meesho again, they told me that they would not accept the return because they believed that I had broken the statue. However, I knew that I had not caused the damage, and I was frustrated that Meesho was not following their own return policy.

I checked their return policy, and it clearly stated that the user is eligible for a return/refund if the product is defective, damaged, wrong, or incomplete due to the seller’s fault or if the user has received the wrong product. Meesho was not following their policy, and I was suffering the consequences. I checked the reviews for the same statue on Meesho’s website and found that many people had experienced similar situations.

I felt helpless and frustrated. I had paid for a product that was supposed to be in good condition, but I had received a damaged product. Despite following Meesho’s instructions, I had not been able to return the product, and I was not getting the refund I deserved. I knew that I needed help to resolve this issue.

That’s why I am turning to you for assistance. As a customer, I have the right to receive the product in the condition it was advertised, and I have the right to return it if it is damaged or defective. I believe that Meesho should follow their own return policy and take responsibility for their mistake. I hope that you can help me resolve this issue so that I can receive the refund I deserve.
