A transaction was made on Meesho App on October 01 for an amount of 4,746/- and among them 4 items were returned and the Order numbers assigned was 909406479623, 276508516514, 640639114220 and 439115711361. As the refund didn’t arrive on time, we started making a lot of follow ups to customer care and to our surprise, we never received a promising response or a resolution. When I tried to dig deeper into the issue, I came to know that for refund amounts I’m seeing Meesho attempted to debit those amounts from my credit card. This is a fraudulent activity, why would any merchant store my card details and attempt to debit my money rather than just refunding the amount of returned products ?

I have been trying to talk to customer care by requesting a call over the Meesho App and it’s not helpful at all. Customer care team is really annoying and they are reading out the same thing again and again, and they aren’t listening to the problem statement that the customer is trying to report. I have also sent them my credit card statement for their review but their customer care agents are trained enough to bluff customers calling them.

Instead of refunding the amount for the items that were returned, Meesho attempted to debit again and claimed the below transactions as refunds.
