Your hotel service and customer service is so bad. I had booked a hotel in Kolkata. I had booked the place for 10 days in Rs 10000. Since my flight was in evening, i reached the hotel at 9pm. The hotel was above a bar, the place did not look safe at all. The room was not at all like the picture, it reeked of cigarette smell, broken and damp walls, thin ans bad quality mattress, a 3rd grade room. I saw another room which had same problems and decided i cannot stay here and left that time itself. I called customer care and they said its night, their concerned team will contact me in the morning. Its been 2 days and back and forth with emails from MakeMyTrip, all you say is we tried reaching you multiple times there was no response. I do not recieve a single call from you. My phone no is available at all times. Not once have I received a call from you and your team. This excuse of not able to reach you is completely baseless.
How dare you close the request without my permission. What would have i done of an upgraded room if the property itself was not safe.
The pictures uploaded on your website and the actual room does not match at all. I had already checked 2 rooms of their. The walls are broken and damp. The bed does not have proper mattress. The room reeks of cigarette smell. Who pays 1000 bucks for a room resembling a bar.
How can you charge me for entire 10 days stay if i am not staying there right now. The room was booked till 5th of sept. I can understand if you charge for one day, because on that day hotel could not take any other booking. But due to your site’s fake images and promises i had to suffer so much. What kind of service is this. I am going to escalate this matter beyond your imagination.
Every time you just put up a mail saying you are not able to reach me. I am receiving and making calls all day long on my phone. You clearly are incompetent. I had a lot of faith on MakeMyTrip but clearly your customer service sucks and your competitors like yatra are far better from you.
You wasted my 10000 rs and i cannot believe you are charging me for a hotel i am not currently staying at.
