Recently I lost my mobile and sim also, I went to jio store to take my jio sim sof same number which I have lost, but my fingerprint was not working so they refused to give me jio sim, I went to another jio store but same thing happen so i updated my biometrics in aadhar center after that when i went to jio store same thing happen so i ask them gve me my jio sim i am proving all my valid documents photos but they don’t give me. When i ask them if i will take new sim same problem occurs then they are saying you can take new sim without fingerprint you give only document and take you new sim. So my question is that if i am taking my same sim then they need biometrics but if i am taking new sim they don’t need biometrics.My friend had lost their Airtel sim they went on the same day of lost sim and take thier dublicate sim in few seconds by one document and photo, In that case they don’t need any biometrics. I called multiple times at jio care number but nobody help me, they put me on hold for 20minutes and don’t come back, I am very disappointed, I have done 3 month recharge also, Everyday I am going to store by wasting my money. I have lost my phone and this is happening. Nobody is helping me. I don’t know i will get any response or not
