I HAD REQUESTED FOR A PREPAID VODAFONE CONNECTION BUT THE GIRL AT THE COUNTER IN THE VODAFONE OFFICE AT JN STREET PONDICHERRY FORCED ME TO TAKE A POST PAID CONNECTION WHEN THE BILL CAME I WAS ASTOUNDED TO SEE THE CHARGES.
I REQUESTED THE CONNECTION TO BE CUT BUT I WAS INFORMED I HAD TO WAIT FOR THREE MONTHS FOR THE CONNECTION TO BE CUT WHICH IN ITSELF WAS AN INJUSTICE.
AFTER THREE MONTHS ON 20TH MARCH 2018 I PAID THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT TILL THAT DATE FOR TERMINATING THE CONNECTION.
THEREAFTER I RECEIVED NO DEMAND NOTICE FOR PAYMENT DUE SINCE I HAD TERMINATED THE CONNECTION BUT ALL OF SUDDEN LAST WEEK I RECEIVED A LEGAL NOTICE ASKING FOR PAYMENT OF RS1082.67
I IMMEDIATELY CALLED UP THE NUMBER 9843006391 AS ADVISED IN THE MESSAGE. I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO DUE TO THE NO 9047014449 AND ADMITTED IT BEING A MISTAKE ON THE PART OF VODAFONE I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT I ALSO CALLED UP THE NODAL OFFICER WHO ALSO ADMITTED THE MISTAKE I ASKED FOR MESSAGE TO THIS EFFECT BUT TILL DATE I HAVE RECEIVED NO COMMUNICATION I AM A RETIRED OFFICER FROM GOVERNMENT SERVICE AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY SUCH LETTER THROUGHOUT MY 37 YEARS OF HONEST DEDICATED SERVICE TO RECEIVE SUCH A LETTER NOW HAS SHAKEN ME UP TERRIBLY
ADDED TO THIS THE NONCHALANT BEHAVIOUR OF VODAFONE CONTACT PERSONS
THIS IS A SERIOUS DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE AND IRRESPONSIBLENESS ON THE PART OF VODAFONE I HAVE BEEN PUT TO MENTAL AGONY AND UNNECESSARY EXPENDITURE IN MAKING CALLS TO VODAFONE CONTACT PERSONS AND TRAVELLING TO VODAFONE OFFICE JN STREET PONDY WHERE I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO DUE TO THE NUMBER9047014449
I CALL UPON VODAFONE TO PAY RS 50000 IN DAMAGES FOR MENTAL AGONY AND COSTS AND SET RIGHT THE WRONG LEGAL NOTICE
