Text of Complaint by Deekshitha:

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had with Meesho’s customer service team and to seek an immediate resolution regarding the refund owed to me. On 11-03-2024, I placed an order for three quantities of a product, totaling ₹877. However, I only received one of the three items. Following Meesho; team’s instructions, I raised a complaint for the missing two items and was partially refunded ₹292 for one item, which was picked up by Meesho’ delivery partner. It is indeed the responsibility of businesses to verify the products and quantities being sent to customers.

Unfortunately, the remaining ₹578 has not been refunded to me, despite it being over a month since the initial complaint. I have repeatedly contacted Meesho customer support, only to receive inconsistent information and promises of a resolution within 4-5 working days. Today, I was informed by one of Meesho’ executives that the amount had been transferred to my bank account on 26-03-2024. However, after thorough verification of my bank statements and Meesho’ app’s payment section, I can confirm that no such transaction has been made.

The lack of clarity and consistency from Meesho’s customer service representatives has been extremely frustrating. It is unacceptable that I have been provided with incorrect information, and one of their executives even claimed the amount had been credited without providing any proof. This has led to a significant waste of time and effort on my part, and I am still without the refund that is rightfully mine.

I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and please provide me with a clear explanation as to why I was told the amount had been transferred when it has not. I expect a full refund of the remaining ₹578. Please treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and ensure that such errors are not repeated in the future to any consumer.
