Text of Complaint by JATHEESH K S:

This is for your kind attention that, Vodafone store at South Extension New Delhi provided me the ever worse service in my life.

5th June 2018:

I went there to get a prepaid sim on 05/06/18 since I was using corporate postpaid plan, and for RS 350 plan I have charged RS.955 for using 1GB extra data that too without providing an information that I’m using excess data.I have paid all my dues and submitted all documents needed ( aadhar plus finger scanning etc.) Store service agent Ms.Neelam assisted me and provided a new prepaid sim.She told me that it will activate within 48hours.
Got the following message:

Your Request for Postpaid to Prepaid conversion is received. We will inform you as soon as your request is processed

06th June 2018:

My prepaid sim activated on 06/06/18 ,and by 5pm I have done my first recharge for RS.229

Hello! Recharge of Rs.229 on 06/06/18 is successful. Talktime recd Rs.4.51. GST chgd Rs.34.93, Access Fee Rs.189.56. New bal Rs.0. Additional benefits to follow.

7th & 8th June 2018:

I have used my prepaid sim without any issues, incoming , outgoing and data pack worked well.Even all numbers of incoming calls displayed normal (saved and unsaved numbers)

09th June 2018:

after few hours (7.16am)I got the below copied message

Important! Incoming calls on your Vodafone phone will be barred due to non submission of documents. Pls submit your documents in 24hr to avoid Incoming services
After that I got this below mentioned message

IMPORTANT! OUTGOING CALLS ON YOUR VODAFONE MOBILE PHONE HAVE BEEN BARRED DUE TO NON SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS. PLS SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS IN 24HRS.

I have contacted many customer care executives-198/199/9811098110 etc.(multiple times-can be tracked from my call history)but they all provided only one reply that they are helpless and asked me to contact store itself.

I went to store again at South Extension and asked the executive (Ms.Neelam) regarding this, she checked and mailed to someone to restart my service , she agreed that she received all necessary documents needed (aadhar plus finger scanning) and forwarded it on 5/6/18 itself. She promised me that it will resolve within 4hours.I have asked for the store contact number she given her personal number for further enquiry

After 4hours it started working, incoming and outgoing calls were activated. But unfortunately again all the incoming calls were shown as UNKNOWN NUMBER, on the spot at 6PM I have made a call to NEELAM and she didn’t pick up the phone, I have continuously called for around 10-20 times and later by 7.30 she picked up the phone and told that her office is closed and the next day was Sunday,I was in a chaos that I was unable to use my mobile data, and don’t know who all are calling me because all numbers are shown as UNKNOWN (number saved in phone ,sim ,sd card etc. Even unsaved numbers also shown as UNKNOWN instead of showing the numbers.I have contacted customer executives(199,198,98110098110 )but not received any output.

10th June 2018:
Sunday, contacted many customer care executives 199/198/9811098110 etc,as usual no help.

11th June 2018:

The very next day I, I went again to store at South Extension and presented my complaint to store manager Mr.Mayank at South Extension they collected again my addhar card copy and passport size photo,I have again signed in various forms.Promised me that it will resolve within 4hours.

12th June 2018:

Still no data,no incoming calls but I can make outgoing calls.

I really felt bad with the service provider and I just wanna ask you people that what’s your response if you people face such an issue, recharged for RS.229,paid RS.1000 for post paid and submitted all documents then unable to use data or make calls,it’s really against the law of customer right. For the past few days daily I’m going to store and asking for help and I’m not at all getting any solution.Whats my fault, and what the big company VODAFONE wants to justify??
Really fed up with the quality of VODAFONE service

Thank you so much for all the help
