Text of Complaint by Sid Naik:

I placed an order with an order id of  1455393683 on the 28th of July, 2019; however, Hotel Santosh, Kalyan, Maharashtra after half an hour from then rejected the order. They at the first place should not have accepted the order, as Zomato says that the address was wrongly mentioned; however, I manually wrote the address and their software picked Manisha Nagar automatically and added it to the address that I wrote. Moreover, if it was not within their boundaries the software should have declined the order at the very first go, which they did not. I waited for the order more than half an hour and was unable to even munch on to the food that I ordered.The customer service executive also took the delivery boy on conference call about a quadruple times and inspite of the delivery boy reaching my home location successfully refused to deliver the order. When I sent an email to their escalations team, they say that the incorrect address lead to food wastage to which I responded that I mentioned the address precisely and it’s your software’s fault and also sent all the evidences of it to them. But, they are so adamant that they do not want to accept it’s their mistake and are stringent of levying a charge to me for their mistake. Hence, not only I demand a refund of the entire amount that I spent that evening of ₹229, but also a compensation from the restaurant to me to have kept me waiting for so long and rejecting the order.  Please help me with this case.
