Text of Complaint by Swathi:

While making a transaction through UPI on Paytm app on 15 Nov 2021 (7.20 PM) , the vendor ID which was displayed for making the transfer on the app was incorrect. As a result, my money got transferred to another account and the actual transaction was not done correctly. This happened because the app opened an incorrect ID on scanning the QR code.
It led to huge delay in payment in addition to having pay twice for the same service at my end.
The money has been deducted from my bank account and also seems to have been transferred to the unintended account.

No appropriate customer care has been provided yet for my grievance redressal. The issue is certainly at Paytm end as the app was buggy and opened another account id for transfer.
This is a concerning issue as we are moving towards a digital economy.

Kindly help to resolve the same and get me a refund of amount Rs.620 from Paytm.
