Text of Complaint by Shounak Gunjal:

I had ordered Adidas Originals ZX 22 Boost Lace-Up (White Color) Shoes from Ajio on 26th April. The Final amount that I paid after discount was 7789.
The parcel was delivered on 30th April. However, it was not the product that I ordered. It was some cheap quality shoes of some local brand.
I immediately raised the return request on same day. Return ID: 109787555. This was supposed to be picked up by 12th May.
However no one turned up to pick up the parcel and Ajio cancelled the return pickup request on 8th May.
I again raised return request on 10th May. Return ID: RT110913963. This product was picked up on 17th May.
I got a call from their QA team on 31st May where they said that I had sent them an incorrect product and not the one that was ordered.
I tried to explain them that the product that I had received from Ajio itself was incorrect and hence the incorrect product was sent back. But they were very reluctant and harsh and said that they had sent the right product only and they cannot give any refund and will send me back that incorrect product.
I wrote a mail to Ajio Customer care and their Grievance office on 31st May explaining them the situation. I mentioned the below things giving them logical reasoning and simple basic technique which would help in identifying incorrect sent package:

Your investigation team is not competent enough to do proper investigation.
One basic thing they could verify is the size of packaging. The Adidas product that I order were bulky shoes and hence the box would be bigger. Due to bigger box size, the outer packaging would also be bigger.
The product that I received were very small shoes and hence the packing was also very small.
How is it possible, that I received the bulky adidas shoes and then I put cheap shoes in it and changed the size of packaging cover?”

They denied refund and sent this response on 2nd June:
“Our team has confirmed that as per the footage correct product was packed and shipped from our end. We will not be able to accept the return for the same. Your product was reshipped back to you with tracking ID 9638790980.  ”
I wrote back back Ajio on 5th June asking them evidence of footage so that I can take further action and I denied to accept the incorrect product that they are sending. I wrote the following:”If the shipment from your end was right then the courier partner would have exchanged it.I would request you to share all the evidences with me so that I than raise FIR.Please do not send me that incorrect shoes again. I will not be accepting that.”
I received below mail from grievance office on 7th June:”We understand your concern return. As per the update on the complaint with ID: COM00059778640. Our concerned tam has confirmed that we have received the non-AJIO product “469206837004 — ZX 22 Boost lace-up shoes” under the return ID: RT110913969 at warehouse and the same has been re-shipped back to you with Ecom under the AWB number 9638790980. Hence, we would not be able to help you further in this regard.”
This is a clear fraud being done by Ajio. They are not even ready to share the evidences that they sent the right product.
Requesting you to look into this and take appropriate action against them.
