Issue – Exorbitant Incorrect Billing
Reported and Escalated to Vodafone Nodal Office, No Resolution. Instead, the number has been put into inactive status.
It has been 3months that my number is inactive. I get daily calls from vodafone call center harassing me to make balance payment. None of the people who call have any clue about the case. As such no one knows the case and bothers to know it. Now I have also received Legal Notice. Even the name on the Legal Notice is incorrect.
Is that the level of Professional Organization, Vodafone claims to be??
Let me summarize my position,
Vodafone billed me approx.. 75k
Not more than 15-17k was payable. Everything pertaining to Data charge is a fraud done by Vodafone on me. No where in the world the data costs INR 60,000 for 55MB. Further, Vodafone did not send any reminder about such charges beforehand. Furthermore, Vodafone had no right to allow me using the service beyond my set limit.
In spite of all this, in good spirit, I paid INR 55000 in the hope that it will pave way for satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately, I was so wrong. I regret having made this payment.
Now, I am going to fight the court case and make sure I recover the 55000 paid along with interest, penalties and harassing me all this while.
Vodafone needs to Educate their people with the facts of the case before they start calling or visiting customers.
