Text of Complaint by Prashanth Shetty:

This is regarding a transaction I did on agoda.com on 07/10/21, I booked two rooms at Hotel Lalit Mahal Palace, Mysore for 09/10/2021 to 10/10/21. I see that the amount of Rs.9,763.78/- got deducted however I did not get a confirmation of booking either via email or SMS. I got a message at the end of transaction that due to technical issues booking couldn’t be completed. I have attached the screenshot for the same. From the statement i see that the amount got credited into “RETAIL DOMESTIC PT MUMBAI MH IN”.

This is the response I received from Agoda..

“Thanks for your prompt reply, and for sending us the supporting documents.

Kindly be advised that the merchant charged you is not Agoda.com. Kindly check again the merchant and contact them directly.”

I feel I have been cheated and Agoda is now not ready to accept any responsibility towards it. Why should we trust these companies ?? Can someone please help me get back my money ?
