I booked a double room for 3 days in the Flagship Hotel Paradise Inn, Bengaluru from 15th July, 2023 to 18th July, 2023 from Agoda paying a sum of Rs 3805. However when I reached the hotel after a long day’s journey the receptionist refused to provide the room saying they were fully booked and that they didn’t recieve any booking from Agoda. They also misbehaved and shouted at us. Meanwhile I contacted Oyo and they said since I booked the hotel from Agoda I should contact them for refund or alternate booking. From the past 3 days I have been in contact with Agoda customer service and they are talking in circles and today they told that they have enquired and found out from Oyo that I have used the booking, which is a complete lie, that can be confirmed from the hotel records and the CCTV footage. I had to look for another hotel at 12 in midnight, after such a long journey and they didn’t provide me any alternate booking also, so I was bound to book another hotel nearby named The Grand Skyla Hotel for which I paid Rs. 4400 for 2 days.
