I made an order from zomato which was mackerel fry and a chicken mushroom soap. It was almost 8.55 pm since i had to take some tablet i ordered right away.. i informed zomato that my dish should be fresh since it was a fish.. i received an update from zomato that the instruction has confirmed by the restaurant.. in 15 mins i got a call from the restaurant that the dish is not available and asked to cancel from my side with chat facility in zomato. Even though it was not my job to do that, i started the chat conversation. I informed about this call to the customer executive via chat. He informed he will get back. meanwhile delivery executive gave me a call and was forcing to cancel the order from my side else i wont get my money back like it was my fault. I told him i have message zomato Please be patient.

Then there was no reply for 45 mins. It was almost 10 and i was starving. Since i hadnt got an update how can i order something more. After a long wait.. i got a mesSage

Your order is still in kitchen and is running late currently. This could happen due to peak order rush at the restaurant or sometimes any specific dish you ordered takes longer to prepare. Please be patient

I kept messaging that i received call from both restaurant and delivery guy that order was not available. I got a harsh message that they havent got an update like that. Still i was being polite and said please give me a proper update or cancel my order..

After 15 mins i received call from zomato that the order is not available. I said to him this what i was saying u people for a whole time and was telling what happen. But he was just mechanically giving me the answer sorry.. you will get ur money back. It was 10.30 and i was starving. I said im gonna approach consumer court because you have a bad service the answer shock me.. he replied no problem.. you do that..

They don’t even have respect for the court and abide it. This is the only reason im writing this compliant and since most of the restaurants were closed i had to starve.. Its the harassment lot of people faces someone have to tell..
