Text of Complaint by Ashish D Solanki:

I, Ashish D Solanki, am frustratingly seeking justice for the unjust done to me. I bought Whirlpool 0.8Ton Inverter Split AC from Flipkart. I received the product on 02/04/2019, as per scheduled installation date but I was out of town and I have already informed about my journey to Shiv Sai Serivce Center. So Installation was not done on that day. After contacting “Shiv Sai Service Center” and Flipkart to make installation as early as possible, they were giving me false assurance that installation will be definitely done on or before 15/04/2019. As per their timeline on dtd.13/04/2019 persons came for installation. They told me that I have to buy wall mount stand for Outdoor unit from us and it will cost around Rs.800/-. So I told them that If I provide you stand from myside then? they refused to install stand if I provide it and said that If you had bought stand from outside then you have to pay Rs.200/- extra for installation. So I talked with their senior (Shiv Sai Service Center owner) and whirlpool officer (Shiv Sai Service Center owner made conference call with him with me) and aggressively both of them said that you have to pay either Rs.850/- for Stand or Rs.250/- extra for installation of stand if you bought it from other sources. and They very rudely said that better We will cancel deal and make it install by yourself. Moreover they told me that If you provide stand from outside then we won’t take any responsibility for outdoor unit and won’t provide any service support. And nowhere in the description on Flipkart website it was/is mentioned that you would have to pay Rs.200/- extra for installation for the Outdoor Stand. Furthermore I bring to notice to Your Honour that Flipkart have only mentioned details about charges of extra accessories, not about the labor charges for installation.

     Therefore Its my humble request to your honour  to please blacklist this kind of service provider, take strict legal action and order them to clearly mention terms and  condition for installation of products on the website so customer don’t get be cheated by these kind of service providers. so that in future no one would be cheated like me. It is not just the question of Rs. 200/- but trust of the customer on E-Commerce.
