I want to report a recruitment fraud carried out by persons claiming to represent Naukri FastForward and HCL Technologies.

On 8th July 2026, I received a call from a recruiter claiming to be from Naukri FastForward. I was informed that they would arrange interviews with multiple companies after I paid a registration fee of ₹500. They assured me that if I got selected, I would only have to pay the remaining ₹2,000.

Believing this to be genuine, I paid ₹500. On the next day, I attended a telephonic interview for a Software Developer position with HCL Technologies. After the interview, I was informed that I had been selected with a package of ₹7.5 LPA.

I was then asked to pay the remaining ₹2,000, which I paid.

After receiving the payment, I was sent an offer email asking me to deposit ₹6,800 as a “Bond Security”, claiming it was refundable. Later, I received another email demanding ₹12,500 for document verification, salary account opening, and insurance.

I have already paid a total of ₹2,500 (₹500 + ₹2,000). After verifying with HCL Technologies and reviewing the recruitment process, I strongly believe this is a recruitment scam using the names of Naukri and HCL Technologies.

I request you to investigate these email IDs, phone number, and payment account, and take appropriate action to prevent other job seekers from becoming victims.

I have attached the offer letters, payment screenshots, emails, and other supporting evidence.
