Hi, I got a call claiming they are shine and have suitable vacancies for my profile.
They asked for details, asked me to login to https://shinejobs.co/ and enter my details.
Please note, this is not the shine website, but a different URL with the same logo. (and by that time I was already alert).
After entering details, they asked me to enter credit card details as a payment of Rs.100/- has to be made. The website showed Rs.100 would be deducted. However the OTP I got from my bank was for a transaction of Rs.41,000/-!!!
I told them I shall not proceed ahead. THey asked me to send the OTP so that they can verify it with their manager. I obviously had to mask before sending them. THey started shouting at me, why I masked and I should send the message as I received.
I told them I am working in IT and you are trying to fool me and hanged up. Huge moment, guys please beware!!
