Text of Complaint by Vinay Peramana:

I tried booking a hotel through Agoda application on 17.02.2021 and the amount of INR 7874.42 got charged to my card favouring to “Retail Domestic PT Mumbai” but didn’t get booking confirmation. When contacted agoda, they said they could not find my booking or transaction details and could not be of any help. This is a fraudulent process incorporated in Agoda payment gateway. Please help to  refund my amount. Thanks.

  1. Hi Vinay,

    You would be surprised to hear that I had the similar experience with Agoda.com on 22nd Mar 2021. I also tried to make a booking, money got deducted from my credit card but i never received a booking confirmation from agoda.com. In my credit card statement it is showing that money has been transferred to Paytm.App. Agoda is not supportive in this regard they clearly said they haven’t received the money and booking so I should check with my bank.   2. what wrong with this app i just spend money from agoda app for booking money deducted form my account and confirmation is not done from any body from hotel and agoda app and their not supportive against this type of loss.

  3. same happened with me also.payment got deducted but agoda have not recieved it.
    I also didnt get any booking confirmation.

    what to do now to get money back?
