Text of Complaint by AANCHAL JAIDHARA:

Vodafone has done fraud with me, The only purpose of this company is to charge unnecessary money and make the consumers pay for irrelevant charges and fool them! I being a loyal vodaofne postpaid customer have always paid all my vodafone bills on time and hence always opt for vodafone and its plans, On the 7th of feburary 2019 I activated auto free roam pack of 3999 from my vodafone app after it being activated I was advised to opt for auto free roam pack of 599 daily as I was about to travel to dubai and muscat from 9th of feb, after knowing this I immediately on the 7th of feb it self deactivated my account by calling a vodafone customer care executive and told them to activate the auto free roam pack of 599/- The executive said that the pack shall be deactivated first and then the new pack shall be activate in half an hour course period time this was exactly on the 7th of feb. on the 9th of feb I left for dubai and by the 12th of feb I get a message from vodafone asking me to pay 5600 rupees against my bill, I was shocked and I called the vodafone customer care from dubai itself and bashed her lefr right and center asking her for an explanation for such a huge amount of bill? She therefore told me that I have been charged for 3999 pack which I had not even used and I was very much in india so me using the pack the question does not even come into existence, she later told me that mam u had not used the pack and within 24 hours the pack was deactivated so you wouldn’t be chaarged for the same. I told her are u sure as I am recording this call on my phone she said yes mam the amount shall be refunded to you on 20th feb.

To my surprise I get a call from vodafone customer care as they had generated a bill of more 2865 against my bill and were expecting me to pay the same when I told them that the amount which was to be refunded to me you can deduct it from that the customer care person says that no your total bill is 8465 and the pack amount charged to you is valid and this is the said amount you need to pay, I seriously lost my calm and asked for an explanation the guy after checking with the end services told me that you had requested to deactivate the pack but from our end the pack was not deactiv ated on time so you are being charged for it even though you were in “INDIA” and the bill amount cant be refunded to you and you need to pay the said amount as you request cant be processed.

As a consumer where am I at fault??? Or vodafone has made faudgery ways to take money from consumers? For their mistakes? Or they are constantly charging the consumer for something they havent used????

I fucking need an expalnation and want my money back from a fraud company. Bloody robbers.
