ORDER # 406-6754487-6221913
I had ordered 4 tubes of toothpaste on amazon and paid it by my credit card for it – an amount of Rs. 368.00. The delivery person charged my domestic help and took 500 rupees from him in my absence saying its value is 499 and it is a Cash On Delivery Order. Upon asking him to see the parcel the delivery person refused to hand it over unless he was paid 500 rupees. Since I wasn’t home he managed to con my help and took 500 rupees from him for an order that was already paid for. This is the second incident of fraud this week by Amazon delivery person. Upon contacting Amazon, they could not offer any concrete help and said we will get back to you within 24 hours – my last complaint about the fraud is still not resolved by them.
