Using a reward code from a scratch card on google pay , I ordered a Vaku Luxos brand 10000 mAHpower bank for Rs 499/- on 30 th Jan. I received order confirmation for order no VK 2600391375 powered by shiprocket(screen shot attached). Since then , there is no deliery update from the Brand owner Vaku Luxos or ship rocket. Neither there is a refund.
I mailed the issue to Vaku Luxos, but there was no response.
When I called Gpay service centre, they told that they are just platform for these companies, and told me to file a complaint with NPCIL
Google search indicated that Vaku Luxos has quite dubious reputation, and also saw many complaints on this platform against them.
I wish to point out-
1) Does a reputed UPI firm like Gpay verrify the credibility of the vendors which are using their platform?
2) What checks the govt machinery has in place for stopping such fraudsters from looting hard earned money of common citizens?
Please look into it.
