I am a student and wanted to earn money independently so I visited some legitimate online sites to apply for a job and I got a text from Venture data infotech regarding a form filling job where I have to fill 400 forms in 4 days with 90% accuracy. They asked for my adhaar for the registration and gave me an agreement. I have completed the job but they haven’t paid me and when I asked about payment , a person calls and tell me that he is an advocate in Maharashtra district court and the company have filled complaint about me and I have to pay ₹ 6000 something or he will send FIR with an amount of 1.70 lakhs. In the agreement it’s written that if the work is completed and not met the accuracy level then the penalty will be deducted from the payment not that I’ll pay it… And they haven’t even given me any accuracy report as to show me where the accuracy went wrong and send me an FIR pdf where there’s the stamp of some advocate named Abhay Rajput from mumbai dist court. When I searched the name in the state bar council there was no such name. They are continuously harassing me to pay by sending FIR and others.
