Text of Complaint by Gopu krishnan v:

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a severe service failure that has resulted in significant financial loss and medical distress.
On May 13, 2026 (at 18:32 PM), I booked a carton box (Medical Equipment/Supplies) from your Gandhinagar, Ernakulam branch to Thrissur Town under LR No. 278-045-9936. At the time of booking, I explicitly informed your staff that this was a medical emergency and required delivery by the early morning of May 14, 2026. I was given a firm verbal assurance that the parcel would arrive by 8:30 AM on the 14th.
The following issues occurred:
Late Delivery: The parcel did not arrive on the 14th as promised. It reached only on the 15th of May, rendering the medical items useless for the scheduled surgery.
Professional Negligence: Due to this delay, a critical surgery had to be canceled, causing immense mental agony and further medical complications.
Lack of Communication: Throughout the 14th, your staff failed to answer calls or provided false information regarding the status of the parcel.
Financial Loss: Not only did I lose the shipping fee, but I have also incurred an additional cost of ₹500 to return the parcel, alongside significant “external money loss” due to the canceled medical procedure.
Demand for Resolution:
I am demanding a full refund of the shipping charges and the return courier costs. Furthermore, I expect an explanation for why an emergency medical consignment was handled with such disregard.
Please be advised that if this is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to escalate this matter to the National Consumer Helpline (1915) and file a formal case for “Deficiency in Service” through the E-Daakhil portal to recover my total financial losses.
I have attached the copy of the LR receipt as proof. I expect a response within 24 hours.
