My Name is Pawan Kumar Gupta, I applied for online part time job on Quikr.com. Then I received a call from a man with the contact number -7265999870 and he offered and convinced me for the part time job providing the screenshot of the work. He said its too simple and just have to fill 700 forms in 7 day and there is no charge in advance but once you complete the work in time with accuracy of 90 % then they will deduct 4700 and if i fail to complete the work in given time then i will have to pay 4700 to them. Looking at the work is so simple, i agreed. They sent me an email (attached below) with all the details. But i worked so nicely and completed the work before time and submitted. But after submission they said that i failed in QC, after which i received an SMS ( shared below in attached file) stating that- “””Mr/Ms. pawan kumar gupta ,This is to inform you that your internal case (3852210) has been listed on 01/08/2020 for
Legal proceedings. Kindly call on 7265862653 for further details.”””
When i call in this number a lady answered but didn’t mention her name. She said that “I’m the advocate of Orian technology and since you failed to complete the work you will have to pay sum of rs-15500, and this just for not completing work in time (which i did) but also you will have to pay more if dont want to continue the work and started threatening me saying that if you dont pay we will send a legal notice on my given address.
Im not sure how to deal with kind of fraud people. But im also going to file a complaint in my area police station against the company.

I have been receiving similar offers over phone and later through WhatsApp for Data entry work from home. Most of these are Ebook typing and they provide PDF or JPEG material from which I am supposed to type the matter in *.txt format and submit. I worked for several firms and none paid for the job, while almost all had collected security deposit saying it will be refunded along the salary. I did not rceive any salary though my work was more than 90% accurate (I had re-checkd several times before submission) and I did not receive any salary also. No one answering my calls and even WhasApp numbers were disabled. That shows that they get the sork free for charge and also collected a handsome amount besides cheating. I have stopped accepting any Ebook typing job.
Now I am getting offers for Captcha work, copy and pasting work or form filling work. Some firms ask for security deposit while some say they will deduct the fee from the salary payble to me. I am araid to enter into any transaction with them after my own bad experience and after reading similar cases filed in conumercompliantscourt. S.Viswanath.
PS: One thing common I have noticed with all these firms is that none of them have their own registered website and all of them operate with gmail for transactions. Is there any way or forum or website to find out a genuine form when I get such offers?
