I booked my ticket through Flipkart travel for travel from Newark to Chennai for 27.09.21 but due to sudden loss of my sister to COVID-19, I had to cancel my booking which was done on 28.08.2021 through Air India.
As soon as I canceled the ticked I called Flipkart travel customer support to initiate the refund process. I submitted all the documents necessary to waive the penalty charges also as per Air India policy for cancellation due to death of passenger’s family member but the refund hasn’t been initiated yet inspite of Air India having refunded the money to Flipkart travel.
We have been following up on this issue for more than 2 months now for just a simple travel refund request and our experience through this has been very dissatisfied and unpleasant.
We have made hundreds of calls to the support team for this simple refund request. We have even provided all the necessary documents to get this sorted out. Despite of all the hustle that we have been through we still haven’t got any resolution on this.
We have been urging and requesting to prioritize this ever since the beginning but nevertheless we only happen to get a templated replies or answers that we will get back in 24 to 48 hours every single time.
I request you to get us a justified solution for this.
