Text of Complaint by Nimalan Peter:

DTH keeps restarting every 5-10 mins: I disconnected my Tata Sky DTH which was working well for years and switched to One Airtel plan .I’m now facing an issue for more than a month without any resolution in sight. I raised my first complaint on Aug 10th, then on Aug 16th, Sep 19th, Sep 27th and one today(Sep 28th). I had engineers visit my house 3 times, they replaced the xtream box and tried plenty of hardware/software resets and the issue still exists.

Worst thing is, they won’t even give me a downgrade to a regular Set-top box which I’ve been requesting from the beginning and the Customer care says I’ll lose all discounts on my One Airtel plan if I discontinue DTH.

I’m stuck now with a useless box, with no option to downgrade, no fix available, not able to move to other DTH also and I’m paying money for that.

It is really frustrating when the box keeps restarting continuously when watching TV or other OTT content.
