TO – Flipkart
CC – Samsung Company

This note is in regards to the order no# OD113214530334182000.

I had received the phone on 28 or 29 August evening and have started using the phone from 29-Aug-2018 morning. On opening and on using the phone I found the following faults.

1. The camera looses focus which ever I tap the screen to focus on some point/person and is making the whole picture hazy.
2. When ever the phone is re-started, it freezes for 20-30 seconds and does not responds.
3. Touch screen reponse is delayed and it responds after 3-4 seconds.
4. The outer-box of the handset is in torned condition.
5. There is no mannual/warranty card in the box.
6. Even the plastic sheet on the phone was coming out as if its been re-packed at some local road side shop.

Today afternoon I had made a request for call back from flipkart. I had explained all my concerns to the call centre executive and he said he will help me out and has tried everything possible by first updating the phone softwares and then re-setting it to factory default settings. I tried explaing to the call centre executive that there is no point first updating the softwares and then re-setting the handset to factory default settings, to which he said its the process mentioned on their screens by flipkart.

After several attemps and wasting the time with him on phone, I had requested him to transfer the call to the team leader. After some time, I get told that sorry the Team Leader is available and he can not do anything more to help me out. After several requests and me telling him that I am recording all this conversation and stating the fact that how can Flipkart run without proper staff , he connects me to the Floor Manager.

I explain him everything and make a request to take this handset back and allow me to order some other handset from flipkart only since I got so many problems with the handset which probably is new and I got it from flipkart.

Now, the floor Manager was more interested in telling me the difference between ofline and online model of business and how I am getting this handset cheaper on flipkart and I wont get it any where else. And also that I have purchased this handset from the seller and not from flipkart and even the money is being paid directly to the seller and not the flipkart.

After several minutes of talking/arguments, his answer to me was he will check with his seniors and get back to me. I had also requested him to write an email to me mentioning the conversation we had, to which he readily agreed and assured me that the mail will reach to me in next 15-20 mins.

Till late evening I had not received any email/call from that floor manager, I think his name was Prabhu.

I had again requested flipkart to call back on my mobile number. After talking to the Call Centre Executive on the above mentioned issue, I get told that they have a record of me talking to their call centre executive and getting me transfered to the senior person in the afternoon but do not have any thing else. I had requested the call centre executive to tell me the name of the person I spoke to in the afternoon, to which he replied its not showing on the screen and he disconnects the phone.

I seriously fail to understand, how flipkart is working is very unethical and is very un-professional. Its all about the customer service when you are in an online business. I bought this phone because flipkart is there for my protection and is the middle part between me and the seller and now flipkart people are saying that they do not know what their sellers are sending and under what conditions the items are being delivered.

I request you to kindly look into the matter on urgent basis and kindly take the phone back and penalise the seller for sending a faulty and used phone and further allow me to buy some other phone from their website, since I have lost my faith in the samsung company after the phone that has been supplied to me.
