I attended what was advertised as a job interview conducted by BankEdge Institute. During the process, I was persuaded to enroll in a paid training program and an education loan was arranged through Eduvanz. I later realized that the opportunity presented was primarily course enrollment rather than a genuine job opportunity as initially represented.
After having concerns regarding the course and loan, I repeatedly contacted both BankEdge Institute and Eduvanz through emails and calls, seeking cancellation and clarification. Despite several follow-ups, I did not receive a satisfactory resolution.
Further, I requested from Eduvanz the documents based on which the loan had been processed in my name. Upon reviewing the documents provided, I found several inaccuracies. The documents incorrectly stated that I was a working professional with an annual income of ₹3,00,000 and mentioned an organization with which I have no association. Additionally, my year of birth was also recorded incorrectly.
I immediately informed Eduvanz of these discrepancies through email. In response, Eduvanz representatives contacted me and stated that they are only the loan lender and do not look into disputes between students and institutes. They further informed me that they would require written approval from BankEdge Institute and a refund of the amount paid to the institute before they could assist with cancellation or closure of the loan.
I believe that the loan was processed using inaccurate information and that neither BankEdge Institute nor Eduvanz has adequately addressed my concerns despite repeated communications. I request an investigation into the matter and appropriate action regarding the course enrollment, loan processing, and the inaccurate information contained in the loan documentation.
