We have noticed that the Amazon team is placing fake COD orders for the product and canceling it post it is been dispatched by the seller.
We are selling Brass handicraft products and when we receive the product in return after order cancellation or customer return there is a high chance that the product gets damaged due to no proper packaging while returning to the seller.
Next, Once the seller has dispatched the orders, there are shipping charges for each order and the seller gets the shipping charges revered only when the customer accepts the product and then returns it, and if the product gets canceled before reaching the end user the seller has to bare the shipping charges and very low chance to claim if any damage to the product in transits.
but we have noticed that fake orders are created by the Amazon team and get immediately canceled post dispatch by the seller, by which the seller has to pay the shipping charges and Amazon gets benefited.
This is not only with us, but we have also seen many sellers writing about the same issue, Amazon is collecting shipping charges just by placing fake orders.
We have raised the issue with Amazon seller support, but the team gives some random answers.
