FORMAL COMPLAINT REPORT
Against Skill-Lync and Associated Finance Company

Subject: Complaint Regarding Misrepresentation, Unfair Trade Practices, Financial Harassment, and Fraudulent Loan Processing

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am submitting this complaint against Skill-Lync and the associated finance company for misrepresentation during course enrollment, denial of course cancellation despite valid hardship circumstances, wrongful loan processing, and continuous financial harassment causing severe mental and financial distress.

Background of the Issue

In the year 2023, I enrolled in an Embedded Systems course offered by Skill-Lync. During the admission process, the sales representative assured me verbally that the course could be cancelled in case of genuine personal or financial emergencies.

Based on these assurances, I agreed to enroll in the course and was guided into obtaining an education loan/EMI arrangement through their partnered finance company.

However, within the second month of the course itself, I faced severe personal and financial difficulties, including:

1. My mother suffering from serious mental health issues.
2. My brother meeting with an accident.
3. Severe financial crisis within my family.
4. Inability to continue paying EMIs or even manage basic living expenses.

I immediately informed Skill-Lync through emails and calls in 2023 requesting cancellation of the course due to these unavoidable hardships.

Despite my repeated requests over the last three years, Skill-Lync refused to cancel the course and continued demanding payments through the finance company.

Issues and Allegations

1. Misrepresentation by Sales Representative
The sales representative explicitly assured me that course cancellation was possible under genuine circumstances. However, after enrollment, the company completely denied this assurance.

2. Wrongful/Fraudulent Loan Processing
At the time of enrollment, I was a student and not an employed individual. However, I was allegedly processed or represented as an employed person for loan approval purposes without my proper understanding of the legal and financial implications.

This raises serious concerns regarding:

* Misrepresentation of applicant details
* Improper loan processing
* Possible financial fraud and unfair lending practices

3. Financial and Mental Harassment
For nearly three years, I have continuously received harassment from the finance company through repeated payment demands and collection pressure despite explaining my situation multiple times.

This has:

* Severely damaged my credit score
* Caused extreme mental stress
* Aggravated my already difficult financial condition

4. Unfair Trade Practices
The company failed to provide fair cancellation terms that were verbally promised during admission and continued charging despite early discontinuation of the course.

Evidence Available

I possess and can provide the following evidence:

* Email communications requesting cancellation
* Call recordings and communication records
* Proof of my family medical and financial hardships
* Loan-related communications and EMI records
* Evidence showing I was a student at the time of loan processing

Relief Requested

I respectfully request the authorities to:

1. Direct Skill-Lync to cancel my course enrollment immediately.
2. Direct the finance company to close the associated loan/EMI account.
3. Remove penalties, bounce charges, and negative credit reporting caused due to this dispute.
4. Stop all harassment and recovery-related communication immediately.
5. Investigate the loan approval process and representations made during admission.
6. Take appropriate legal action for unfair trade practices and financial misconduct if violations are found.

I request urgent intervention as this matter has caused severe financial hardship and mental distress for the past three years.

Thank you.
