Text of Complaint by Jatinder singh:

pathetic customer service by Airtel. I am using Airtel DTH HD box (customer ID – 3021979356) and wanted to upgrade it to Xstream box so I went to the airtel web site and applied for one. By mistake, I applied for new DTH connection with Xstream box customer ID‬ 3034361732 got generated. The technician came to my place and informed me that please cancel the request of new connection (for which I already paid Rs. 2249) and make the payment in your existing customer ID (3021979356). I made the payment of Rs. 2249 again to technician to get Xstream box. I sent an email to airtel to cancel my earlier request and refund my money (Rs. 2249) but the Cuatomer support is playing on emails since last 2 months but didn’t get my money back. I received call from airtel and represent said we will refund the money shortly but nothing happened. I am not sure how they are surviving with this kind of pathetic customer service. I want my money back ASAP.
