Driver’s Name – Mahesh. Vehicle – DL1RT8850.
I along with my 6yrs old kid Booked ola cab to railway station in noida, driver came to the apartmnt and complaining about the gate guards that they take photo/details which waste too much time and we get paid by kilometers.i said its a procedure. Then he asked me what is the base fare is showing for this ride, i said rs 243 and 6.1km distance. It was 3:16pm when me n my kid got into cab and map was showing ETA as 3:40pm. After 5-7 mins of ride driver said the map route is not good there is construction ahead (driver said-few hours before i was stuck in this route for an hour) and you will miss the train, other route is the short one so i said if you know the route then its ok. He took u-turn, after 5-6 mins i realised the distance to railway station was increasing as per google map and continuously showing the route which was at the start of the ride..then i asked him to drive as per map route but he continued his rash driving.i got scared and was with my kid so couldn’t argue much as we were at loanly road and then reached to dead end (no phone network) there was no road ahead but can see some road at a distance. i asked if he knew this route then he denied and got down from cab and was looking here and there. After 2-3 mins i saw some 2wheelers and a car behind.then i asked him to take the map route..again he was trying not to follow the map, after yelling he took the route as per map and then some call came and he started talking on phone loudly. After 50mins, 21.6km and rs428 at 4:06pm we reached the station, about to miss the train. Surprisingly the same driver did the same thing few years back, tht time we missed the train. When i told him that he did this to increase the kilometers and increase the fare then he smiled and when i asked since when he is in this driving business he said since 22-26yrs.though OLA returned the difference amount but this was not about the money. Driver drove rashly, drove to loanly road, talked on phone while driving, his car’s front part was damaged as there was some accident happened, just to increase the kilometers and fare. NOT DONE
