I had purchased WD External hard disk from Paytm last year as per order#3113173757, which is still under warranty. Unfortunately my disk stopped working and needs replacement. When I contacted WD support team, they said that the given hard disk was originally sold in China not in India, so warranty can’t be given. I couldn’t understand that if I bought my hard disk in India from Paytm site and the invoice shows the seller is from Gurgaon, India, then how come the product was originally sold in China instead of India ? WD Vendor support asked to contact your place of purchase to avail the warranty. I am following up on this from 1-Nov-2018, Please refer PayTm Complaint#94134806 and 95337722. Please help.
