I booked hotel in Srinagar for 23rd May to 29 May in Hotel Welcome residency thru IBIBO.. Invoice attached for your reference. Booking was made for 4 adults n 2 kids with no cancellation policy.
However..on 22nd May airlines cancelled d flight to srinagar scheduled on23rs May frm delhi citing technical reasons
There is direct train route to srinagar and all trains via jammu were full..flights cost was exorbitantly high.
Hence we approached IBIBO on 22nd may with request to change dates of our stay on any day in Jun..jul or August as per availability.
IBIBO contacted hotel who responded saying no date change is allowed and money is forfeited.. we were informed the sa.e on 23rday being clueless.
