My name is Piyali Basu. I boarded the Indigo Flight (6E 563) from Kolkata to Coimbatore this morning (15th October, 2022)
I was shocked to see the condition of my almost new suitcase on arrival. It was delivered to me completely damaged and unusable.
Upon speaking with the airlines, they blatantly refused to take any responsibility for complete mishandling and lack of care with handling luggage on their end. This is absolutely not acceptable. The least the concerned airlines can do is apologise and compensate passengers for their loss. Description of the luggage that got mishandled rather violently is as follows:
