Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to file a complaint against Zomato and Moonlight restaurant regarding an order that I placed through Zomato’s platform on [Date]. I ordered grilled chicken, but unfortunately, the food was completely spoiled and emitted a foul odor. It was evident that the chicken was not prepared on the day of the delivery. The food was not fit for consumption, and I had to discard it, resulting in a waste of my money and time.

I immediately raised a complaint with Zomato’s customer support team, requesting a full refund for the order. However, the resolution provided to me was completely inadequate. I was offered a meager amount of Rs. 51 as a refund, which is not acceptable to me. I believe that I have been treated unfairly and have not received the justice that I deserve as a customer.

I would like to bring to your attention that I have been a loyal customer of Zomato for a long time, and I have always trusted their platform to provide me with fresh and safe food. However, the recent experience has shattered my faith in the platform and raised serious concerns about the quality of food that is being served by the restaurants listed on Zomato’s platform.

I urge you to take appropriate action against Zomato and Moonlight restaurant to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. I request you to direct Zomato to provide me with a full refund for the order, along with suitable compensation for the mental harassment and inconvenience caused to me.

If my request for a resolution is not met, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the consumer court, as I feel that I have been treated unfairly and have not received the justice that I deserve. I hope that you will take prompt and appropriate action to resolve this matter and restore my faith in Zomato’s platform.

    I am her to complaint for delivering stale food by Fried Nation, Mira Road East , Poonam cluster II. Bill attached for reference with its address. 1) The Fish Burger was having fungus, with stale lettuce , 2) Supreme Burger having stale lettuce on 7th October 2023 at 23.25 IST

    Fish burger is stale, the burger is full of fungus. have uploaded the pick on Zomato app. , the lettuce used is also stale. in both burgers Fish burger and Supreme burger.
    How do you expect a person to eat stale and food with fungus. A person cannot eat at all. I was calling the restaurant but nobody is answering the call. ,plus the restaurant number mentioned on the receipt is wrong.
    I had immediately put forth this issue to Zomato they provided me with refund, but that’s not solution. I had to starve as all the restaurants had closed down. Fried Nation didn’t show responsibility to send fresh food to customer as well as they provided wrong number on the receipt as no one can reach them for any complaint.
    Strict action should be taken towards the restaurant Fried Nation on quality of food.

    By consuming stale food it cold have cost my health, A strict action towards Fried Nation and Zomato to compensate as we had to starve coz of this stale food delivered.
