Text of Complaint by Shashank Prakash:

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with Swiggy’s services. On 1/06/2023, I placed an order through the Swiggy app for honey chili potato from Chopstick Restaurant, with the expectation of receiving a timely and accurate delivery. Unfortunately, a series of mishaps occurred, and the overall service provided by Swiggy has been far from satisfactory.

The incident began when the restaurant handed my order to the wrong delivery partner. Understanding that mistakes can happen, I immediately attempted to contact Swiggy customer care by calling the provided helpline. Regrettably, my attempts to reach a representative were in vain, as I was left waiting on hold for an extensive period of 15 to 20 minutes without any response or resolution.

Frustrated with the lack of assistance over the phone, I resorted to the chat feature on the Swiggy app. I initiated a chat session, detailing the situation and requesting immediate attention. To my dismay, I had to wait for an astonishing 30 minutes before receiving any response from a representative. Even then, the replies were generic and noncommittal, with no concrete steps taken to address my concerns. The customer service representative merely stated that they were “looking into it” and provided no further updates or solutions.

This entire ordeal took place during the late hours of the night, causing significant inconvenience and distress. As a Swiggy Super subscriber, I have invested in your premium services, expecting timely and efficient customer support. However, the experience I encountered highlights a complete lack of responsiveness, disregard for customer concerns, and a failure to provide the level of service I have paid for.
