Issue Description:
I placed an order on Flipkart on [19th,26th,27th,29th May 2023] for the above-mentioned product. The delivery date was communicated as [22nd,28th,29th,30th, May 2023]. However, to my surprise, Flipkart did not deliver the product as scheduled and failed to provide any communication regarding the delay.I received a cancellation notification without my consent, stating that I need to reorder the product at a higher price if I still wish to purchase it.
Price Increase:
I am deeply dissatisfied with Flipkart’s decision to cancel my order and then demand that I reorder the product at an increased price. This sudden price hike puts me at a disadvantage as a consumer, and it is an unfair practice by Flipkart.
Attempts to Resolve:
I have tried contacting Flipkart’s customer support on multiple occasions to address this issue. However, their response has been inadequate, and they have not provided a satisfactory resolution.
Enclosed with this letter are copies of relevant documents, including the order confirmation, cancellation notification, and any communication with Flipkart’s customer support.
I kindly request the consumer court to consider my complaint and initiate appropriate action against Flipkart to rectify this situation. I hope for a fair resolution that upholds consumer rights and ensures that such practices are not repeated in the future.
