Hi i am puneet kumar.
i got a call from a number saying that i am calling from vodafone on 14TH OCT and we are providing you a very good plan in 399RS including GST and you will get free unlimited call 50 GB data and so on like they use to say in general and also a voucher of RS400 for 12 months. I was ok with the plan and said ok port my number . then i said that i haven’t paid my bill of airtel company because they are charging me more than what i should be charged. then they said i have a bill of rs400 which i would not pay they he said ok dont worry we will wave off your bill and port your number . I said ok you can come and collect my docs. but the agent who was coming to visit my place called me up and said are you aware of the plan i said yes and he asked me about he same . i briefed him the same story what conversation i had with the agent so the person said no sir it is not like that forst you have to pay the remaining bill then only your number can be ported i said ok i will do it later.
The agent who made the outbound call again called me and said sir would you pay your bill or not i said i already told you that i will not wether you port it or not he said ok provide me your docs i will port your number . the field excecutivecame to my office and handed over the sim to me but my adhar card was not available with me at the same time so he said whatsapp your adhar card on the agent number .
I did the same and he said ok sir now your number will be activated in 24 hours as it was urgent to me .
till now on 16 th OCT nmy number is not ported and the agent to whom i whatsapp my adhar card is disconnecting my call and switched off his number.
I think vodafone is making fake commitments to the people and because of the competition in the market they are selling thier sim cards like this…. i thought switching to vodafone would be a good step now i think it was a very big mistake. If you need the ctc number of the agent i can provide you.
kindly look into this matter and reply as soon as possible.
