Text of Complaint by Subrat Kumar Mallick:

I booked a hotel room from Agoda for Puri Trip from 24th June to 25th June 2023. During searching hotels Agoda showed GoRoomgo Srikhetra Swargadwar Puri Hotel costing Rs. 3054. Also shown the pictures of hotel attracting conditions ensured providing free wifi, parking etc. So i booked the room costed me Rs. 2782 after promotional coupon. When i reached hotel, the scenario was different. It was not a hotel, it was a cheap lodge. Rooms were dirty with messy bathroom, smell from bedsheet, even TV was not working forget about Free Wifi. The room was maximum 100 Sq. feet area. When i talked to Hotel Owner regarding this, even he was shocked and said me that his hotel room costs minimum Rs. 300 to Maximum Rs800 only. I showed him the photos of room that i ve seen in agoda and he said those photographs are not his hotels. Hotel owner was a very genuine person. I tried to call Agoda but no body responded and computerised voice was only repeating my conformation details. Such a buggas. After seeing mine condition hotel owner himself instructed his manager to arrange a AC room with extra charges of Rs. 200. AGODA is cheating the customers with false information and charging higher cost than usual.
